Wow how behind am I??? I'm actually 32 weeks now but just can't seem to get my posts in order! To be honest, besides the busyness of two baby showers this week (<3) I haven't really been feeling all that great and have had zero energy to write. But can I just say that besides not feeling well, these past 2 weeks have been amazing? Seriously... so much love from so many people for sweet Kennedy girl. She has the cutest little outfits, tons of mermaids, and bows bows bows. Luckily, Sean hasn't gotten overwhelmed by it and thinks it's pretty cute.
So this post will be really short and sweet today and I'll post again in a few days with my 32 week picture.
How far along: Well technically I'm 32 weeks, but this post is for my 31 week update.. so let's go with that :)
What I'm craving: Nothing right now. I actually haven't had much of an appetite. Things I usually want to eat (like this delicious salmon dish Sean made a few weeks ago), I'm having a hard time getting down right now. I know I should be eating small throughout the day, but I'm not even wanting to do that.
How I'm feeling: Tired, exhausted, sleepy... This pain in my side is so painful all day every day, it just really drains me. I want to stay active and have so many things to still do to prepare, but I don't ever want to be upright because it hurts so bad. The only way I find relief is by laying on my back with a pillow up against my right side for pressure.
What I bought this week: I haven't had to buy anything because we had a very lovely shower last Saturday!!! If you missed that post on Wednesday, make sure to check it out. I did it really late at night, but put some gorgeous pictures from my floral dream of a baby shower.
What I'm most excited about this week: Yesterday, my work friends (there really just friend friends, but I work with them), threw me another amazing shower. I was so overwhelmed by the love, attention, and thoughtfulness of this group. I really do love this place and it's because of the people I work with.. My office bought me and Sean our STROLLER!!! And I have been dying over this stroller for close to two years. There's a great picture of me crying as soon as I opened it that I can't wait to share with you guys. So I'm most excited about Sean putting that together. I'll just put one of Mini's jellycats in it and take it for a spin.
So even though I haven't actually had the baby yet, I feel like this is my first mother's day! Mini is so active all of the time and I feel so connected to her. I can't wait for this time next year to actually have her with us to celebrate. But in the meantime, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all of you mommies out there! You are so amazing and I hope to be just as great as all of you soon.
LOTS OF LOVE!
