Wow! It's been a year already?? When I launched this blog on May 10, 2016, I had hit my breaking point and needed an outlet to get my sadness and frustration out. I had searched the internet for women who were going through the same thing as me and couldn't find anyone who took the exact same doses of Clomid, or had the same irregularity in their cycles. Even though there were many women struggling with infertility, I felt really alone. I had no idea of the response I would get with this blog. The love and support that I received was so overwhelming and I am forever grateful for all of your encouragement throughout this year.
Well this last year has definitely been both incredible and challenging. Little did I know that I was pregnant already when I had launched the blog. I found out shortly after my first post and enjoyed almost 2 months of nervousness and excitement before we lost that first baby. I am amazed by God's grace and power because he knew exactly what he was doing. He was giving me hope. I got pregnant again in the fall and am now expecting a healthy baby girl in July. It's incredible how full circle this really is. My baby girl is due right around the time we lost our first. How much of a blessing is it to bring life into this world on almost the exact same day we had to say goodbye to the other? Mini will forever be more than just a miracle.. she will always be a true blessing and reminder of God's grace and love. And now I am so grateful for this pregnancy and the health of this baby, but it has really been challenging on my body. But I know as soon as I hold that sweet little girl in my arms, I'll be ready to do it all over again just to have that moment with her.
Now we are at the tail end of it and are looking into our last 8 weeks! And what better way to celebrate this time than with a beautiful shower in honor of Kennedy! My sister, Krystal, and one of my best friends, Ashley, gave me the most beautiful floral dream and I could not have asked for more, nor been more blown away by their love and creativity. Mini definitely was showered with lots of gifts, glitter, and pink and I am so grateful for the generosity of my friends and family. It's going to be so fun raising a little girl!
Here are a few pictures from the shower this past weekend:
Tomorrow, my work friends are throwing another shower for Mini and I can't wait to share that with you too! I've decided I'll do a post for weeks 31 and 32 bumpdates together because there is just so too much to put into one post!
Thank you all again for your support. I love you all very much!
