I can't believe I'm 5 1/2 months! It has really gone by so fast. Someone asked me the other day how many more weeks I had, and when I said 18, I just couldn't believe it. This week was so much fun because I started talking Baby Shower!! My wonderful sister and my sweet friend are throwing Mini and me and shower and we are so thankful for the love. A date has been decided, invitations have been ordered, and it's just all coming along fast and furious.
Mini is kicking like crazy these days and Sean finally got to see it last night! I've been dying for him to feel her or see her, but he doesn't exactly have the patience to sit and stare at my belly for 10+ minutes waiting for it. But last night, she was kicking really hard and he saw her. I still love feeling her all throughout the day. I don't think I will ever get tired of that movement.
How far along: Mini is a spaghetti squash this week and almost 13 ounces. I still can't believe how light that is and how quickly she'll grow to be 7-8 pounds!
What I'm craving: I want to eat everything. It doesn't matter how healthy it is, I'll eat it! Sean made turkey spaghetti with zucchini noodles and brussel sprouts the other night and I LOVED it. But because I did really good on my vegetables this week, he's finally taking me for some Italian tonight!
How I'm feeling: I feel huge. And I know I still have so much larger to get. But this belly is definitely big and killing my back. I go see Dr. C in 11 days, so I am going to ask her about a prenatal chiropractor. I've been doing my prenatal yoga which the stretching definitely helps, but this pain... once it sets it, there is no relief. Sean has been really great about rubbing it out every night though. I don't think he wants my massage bill if I do decide to go once a week instead of once a month :)
What I bought this week: I got some teeny tiny onesies from H&M this week and they are just the cutest little thing! One of my Assistant Buyers went to Guatemala last week and also brought her back a beautiful little dress. Sean and I are going to do our registry tomorrow at Buy Buy Baby (after lots of recommendations), and that should be a lot of fun!
What I'm most excited about this week: Definitely finishing the registry. The more exciting part is that Sean is totally into it too. But I think it has more to do with playing with that scanner gun than anything else. Love that boy!
Have a fantastic weekend everyone!
